Community Outreach Programmes

K.R. Mangalam World School, Vaishali, fosters a strong sense of social responsibility among its students, encouraging them to become compassionate contributors to society. The school’s community outreach initiatives are actively led and organised by students, enabling them to engage with local communities, understand real-world challenges, and take meaningful action.

Key initiatives include:

Books Donation to NGO Sarvahitey

A student-led book donation campaign that promotes literacy by collecting and distributing books to children from under-resourced communities—encouraging a love for reading and expanding access to education.

Donation Drives

Students regularly organise donation drives to collect clothes, stationery, hygiene kits, and food items for distribution to NGOs, shelters, and vulnerable communities—fostering social awareness and collective responsibility.

A highlight of these efforts is Roti Bank, a heart-warming student-led initiative under Act Out Against Hunger, where home-cooked rotis and vegetables are contributed weekly and distributed to the underprivileged in nearby areas. These efforts are especially meaningful during Thanksgiving Week, when the school community comes together in a spirit of gratitude, appreciation, and service.

Disaster Relief Efforts

In times of crisis, students mobilise support through fundraising and donation drives, extending timely aid and demonstrating solidarity with affected communities. In the same spirit of generosity, students organised a donation drive for the victims of the Myanmar crisis, collecting essentials and sending them through the Myanmar Embassy—showcasing the value of global citizenship and compassion beyond borders.

Through these enriching experiences, students grow into empathetic, socially aware individuals committed to positive change and responsible global citizenship.

Environmental & Health Awareness Campaigns

Learners take initiative in planning and conducting campaigns on sustainability, hygiene, mental health, and wellness—raising awareness within and beyond the school community.

Visits to Care Homes

Students visit orphanages, old-age homes, and special needs centres to engage with residents through conversation, performances, and shared experiences—nurturing empathy and human connection.
