RAJNI HASIJA

FOUNDER & CHIEF CONSULTANT

Rajni Hasija is the founding partner and chief consultant of RR Hasija and Associates LLP. She had an illustrious career spanning over 3 decades with Indian Railways as a Traffic Officer, she possesses experience of more than 20 years of management and project handling from inception. She was selected for the Board of IRCTC as Director (Tourism & Marketing) in 2018 and has also remained the Chairperson and Managing Director of the company for more than 2 years before superannuating from service in May 2023. Ms. Hasija has hands-on experience in handling the B2B and B2C online business of IRCTC and has taken numerous initiatives in making Asia’s biggest transactional website a success story. In the LOGISTICS field steps taken by her have helped IRCTC in setting up of the “CARGO WING” which is now running successfully in competition with big companies.

Known as an able administrator and renowned amongst peers and teammates as a leader and frontrunner, she contributed immensely towards the development and proliferation of travel and tourism activities in the country with a special focus on rail-bound tourism and mass tourism. Under her guidance, several innovative tourism products like the Bharat Gaurav theme-based Tourist Trains were launched. She was also the architect of websites, apps, and promotional films of Maharajas’ Express and Buddhist Circuit Special Tourist Train for which IRCTC was conferred with the ‘National Tourism Award’ in the year 2022. She also played a pivotal role in commissioning online helicopter ticket booking for the Char Dham Heli Yatra for the Government of Uttarakhand launched in April 2023.

With her prolific energy and rich work experience across diverse fields of travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, Mrs. Hasija also possesses experience in handling system requirements of corporate governance along with Risk management, CSR, ESG, and BRSR requirements of a listed company.
